Yesterday was another big day for the USA women. In WATER POLO, the USA women defeated Spain for the Gold
Medal--the first for Team USA after winning the Silver Medal in Beijing.

In SOCCER, the USA women edged Japan 2-1 for the Gold. Carli Lloyd, scored both goals for the win, and Hope Solo made the brilliant saves. The 80,203 people who watched the game was the largest ever for a women's soccer match at the Olympics.
